   Loved the sound quality
   When you hear songs on these quality speakers, you just realize all other speakers and headphones are trash.
   The set ip is not easy for a house, you need to make sure the angles and distances are right. When it’s done properly, it AMAZING!
   They are great for living room and are beautiful

   Good speakers but they need a ton of space around them
   unless you have a lot of space around these speakers, they will sound very muddled. needs like two or three feet at least on each side. After owning these for 6 months, I’ve started to appreciate them more and more though. These are genuinely great speakers! They reproduce the bass of all my tracks perfectly, in a way I just haven’t seen in other speakers

   They replaced my HR824’s I had for 20+ years
   Excellent accuracy. Loud. Crisp. If you want to hear more low end , buy the subwoofer. For me, I use them for mixing and they are simply wonderful as is. They’re big, but look nice. Sound adjustment controls are great and make a difference in your space. I’ve got no buzzing, or digital scratchiness. The amps are well shielded or grounded. There’s no unwanted sounds coming from these. Super happy with my purchase.

   Changed how music sounds for me
   I bought these on a recommendation to move away from audio speakers to reference monitors. The basic idea is that these do not “paint” the sound but instead given a totally accurate output of the master/mix. This means you can hear the lower quality in a poor audio file (e.g. a poor quality mp3 or audio stream) BUT when you listen to a high-quality input i.e. Itunes, vinyl they sound amazing. You can actually hear what the artist and/or professional sound engineer want you to hear. Not exaggerating when I say it makes songs I’ve listened to for 20 years sound new – I can hear things I never heard before. High and low-end response are nuts!! I added the HS8S sub to share the bass load – but these work well alone. I’d recommend buying these first and adding the sub as an up-spec. The build, design, and controls are all top-notch. Pro tip: buy Mogami Gold cables too.

   Wow, ich bin völlig überrascht von diesem klaren Sound!!! Ich dachte bisher das meine alten Studioboxen gut waren – ABER die sind ja richtig Schrott – kein Vergleich zu den Yamaha Monitor, denn diese sind klasse. Man hört wirklich jede Einzelheit und so klar!! Ich bin froh das ich diese gekauft habe denn nun macht es nochmals viel mehr Spaß die Musik abzuhören, mixen und zu mastern!! Danke bin rundum zufrieden!!!

    Quién diga que flaquean en frequencias bajas, no entiende el propósito de estos monitores. Aunque con muy ligera “colorización”, el sonido que emiten es transparente, tal y como se debe escuchar. Perfectos para producir, ajustandolos con un mic omnidireccional y tratando acusticamente el espacio donde residiran. Excelentes para escuchar música con solo comprarles bases de espumas que mitiguen las vibraciones de las frequencias bajas.

    These units are great (I’ve bought two). I couldn’t compare them to any other studio monitor, as they’re the first I’ve bought, but the sound quality beats anything I have in my home, or anything my friends have. It sounds crisp and clean, enabling me to be able to effectively mix and master properly to the best of my current ability as a bedroom producer.
    Only thing that made me worry, was that one of them started to make a kind of mid to high pitch monotone sound after I had been using it for about 8-10 hours straight one day. Worried me right after the fact, but the next day I fired them up and they didn’t have any issues. Only happened once so far, but I was probably asking for it after using them for so long (no, I wasn’t crazy on the volume either.)
    Just want to remind people, they’re studio monitors, not a PA system. All my friends had expected that they’d be louder. They’re meant for accuracy, not brute strength.
    As my first studio monitor purchase, very pleased!
    (Been using for about 5 months, moderate to heavy use)
