What a beast of a card.
I just want to shout out Zotac, I’ve seen some horror stories about their cards, and the 3080 launch hasn’t been great, but i received my card, installed it, got drivers/firestorm, and immediately threw everything i had at it. 4k RTX fully maxed SOtTR benchmark gave me 97 FPS average. I got 220 fps in WoW fully maxed 4k. It chewed right threw MHW, Warzone, Avengers, and Doom Eternal as well. Temps are staying sub 70c on stock fan curve. RGB has had no issues in my system. And best of all the thing has a 3 year warranty. Hopefully i wont need it, but for now, I’m highly pleased with my purchase after being skeptical at the time of buying.
EDIT: So after a couple of weeks all the RGB in the card crapped out after all. Have tried all the basic troubleshooting methods to resolve it. Trying to get another card within my 30 day return window so i can return it without having to wait 3 weeks for the RMA process to play out.
REEDIT: they released a firmware update that resolved the rgb issue, no issues for the last year!

Looks good but has flaws
Card is really good, BUT here are the cons.
Noise: Really Loud! Undervolt is a MUST.
Rgb: software SUCKS, and you canât use any other.

I’m seeing a ton of negative reviews, but works beyond my expectations and I don’t regret anything…
I’m currently using this card to render frames and animate in Daz 3D studio and this card is blazing fast compared to my crappy GTX 1080 I’ve used before it… I’m loving this card! I don’t get what with all the negatives… I’ve been using mine for about a month almost non-stop and it’s still super functional! I love this Zotac GeForce GPU! Thanks Zotac!

Overall a decent Card
Dont think its the absolute best card. Vram temps get pretty high when gaming/mining while the GPU temps are reasonable. Card looks great. And so far performs well otherwise. Going to swamp out the thermal pads for some more efficient ones to get the temps to drop a bit.

Good card for a high priced gaming rig
Best card I’ve bought so far. All the settings are on high or better. Now playing games at 4k without even changing the settings. Didn’t like the fact that linux version in downloads did not work. In typical linux fashion I found a work around for this short coming.

It’s an awesome card… However, it was scalped to death.
Noting else I can say about this, this product was scalped to death. However, works SUPER awesome in an EGPU! Works in an EGPU better than a 2080 ti! If you can find one of these, and have an EGPU, use this!

If you can get ZOTAC card I recommend it
A very beautiful graphics card I love the symbol of the top of the ZOTAC card perfect amount of performance from the graphic card playing on ultra settings in game
Simple, yet complicated. –
Not the best card available at this price.
Pros:
Stays cool (when given proper airflow)
Stays quiet (when given proper airflow)
Nice Aesthetics, probably one of the better looking AiB 3080s available
It’s an RTX 3080! Runs smooth, haven’t experienced any crashes.
Cons:
Downgraded PCB – The cheaper Founder Edition card has a better PCB
Downgraded Power and overclocking potential – You can get a bios update that will allow you a 5% increase to power, the Founder’s Edition card allows for a 15% increase to power. With these cards, power is key to overclocking potential. You can tell it you want to set the boost clock to +150mhz, but if the power is not there the game clock will run into a power limit and won’t get any higher. With 105% power, the game clock in demanding titles seems to be somewhere between 1890mhz and 1950mhz. Certainly not bad, but I definitely feel the GPU has untapped potential.
Price, let’s be honest, the $699.00 Founder’s Edition is a better overall value, even though this card will stay cooler with proper ventilation.
Very noisy when fans reach 65%.
Case needs excellent airflow – I have a fairly large case with decent airflow, but this card will reach 76C and 72% fan speed, if I remove the side of the case 71C and with acceptable fan noise. For me to keep the case closed I’m going to have to see if I can get more air moving inside the case.
Premium for 15mhz overclock? Maybe a higher bin GPU? Hard to say. The PCB is the same as the non-OC
Promotional Items not included with Amazon. I was told that Amazon is no longer participating in with the promotions program. Unfortunately this was after I ordered my card. I was looking forward to the COD game that is bundled with sites like Newegg or Zotac’s store. If you have the option to buy this card, buy it elsewhere.
Update: Amazon did send me the promotional codes, two days after receiving the product. I am not sure why it took so long. Also two Amazon reps told me the card did not include the promotional items. So, I had no reason to think that they would still come though. However, it appears they did come through and I was able to redeem them.
Amazon Customer –
I received the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity OC 10GB GDDR6X (hereinafter called “the card”) on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. This was six to twenty days earlier than originally promised. I was quite happy with this.
After installing the card it worked very, very well and I was pleased with it. Then, on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 the monitors went black but the computer continued to run until I shut down using the power button. I reinstalled my four year old GeForce GTX 1070 Ti alternating both the power cables to make sure the problem wasn’t my PSU. The 1070 Ti worked flawlessly.
I RMA’d the card and ran into problems with the vendor. They sent an email to me that sounded as though they were either going to:
A-claim the card worked for them at which point they would send it back to me, or
B-not give me a refund until sometime down the road.
Not hearing from the vendor for two weeks I contacted a nice representative from Amazon who, after I read the offending email to her, had my refund back to me within three days. I will not deal with Deal Targets again. I will also not buy a ZOTAC product again.
